About the Luxe Farm Tent
We promise a luxury stay on a FarmCamps farm and we kept that promise! In the Farm Tent you can wander straight from your bedroom into your bathroom without even leaving your tent!
Could sleeping in a FarmCamps bed be better than your own bed? Well, yes! We often hear from our guests who would like to know where we buy our wonderful mattresses from!
At FarmCamps we have 2 types of Farmtents. The 4-person and the 6-person Farmtent. The only difference between the two Farmtents is that in the 6-person Farmtent there are 2 bunk beds instead of 1. Do you have a baby? Then the 4-person Farmtent is most suitable. There is enough space in the bedroom for a cot. You can then stay in the tent with a maximum of 5 people.
Nice: there is also a cozy version of the Farmtent. This tent has no sofa, but a cozy dining area and is somewhat smaller. The cozy variant can only be found at Hoeve Luyterheyde.
The rules are there are no rules on a FarmCamps holiday! Why not pack away your smart phones and tablets and experience the simpler life again? Take your chances at winning Ludo or re-experience Pim Pam Pet! The well-stocked children’s games chest guarantees hours of fun and laughter together with the whole family!
FarmCamps farms can actually be found throughout the country. From Zeeland to Friesland and from Limburg to North Holland. You also have the choice whether you want a farm by the sea, in the middle of the countryside or close to a forest or the beach. There is always a farm that suits your needs!
And there’s more! Healthy fresh air, happy children and lots of hugs from all the animals that walk around the farm. That makes renting a Farmtent on the farm truly unique. You really should do it sometime!
There is free wifi at the reception on almost all our FarmCamps farms. Some farms even have wifi signal in the tents. If you want to know which locations these are, check out our website at ‘Our Farms’ and select the filter ‘Wifi in the tent’.
Good to know: some farms are remote and therefore do not always have a good WiFi signal. Unfortunately, due to their location, FarmCamps De Geele Bosch and FarmCamps De Verloren Kost receive too few MBs for a good connection.
Our tents are fully furnished and fully equipped. You sleep in comfortable beds and in each tent there is a relaxed couch and a large table to play games. The kitchen has running water, a gas stove, a small refrigerator and a good espresso machine. And of course enough kitchen inventory. Many of our tents also have an outdoor fireplace next to the tent. Good to know: there is no microwave or oven in the tent. Unfortunately, our tents do not contain a standard baby cot and/or high chair. Our baby package does include a cot (and a high chair and changing mat). You can rent these for €16.
Secure! If the weather is not so nice, that’s no problem at all. In a Farmtent you will find a game box as standard with which you can enjoy yourself for hours.
However, a real Dutch family cannot be stopped by a bit of bad weather. Even in bad weather, the cows have to be milked and the animals fed. The farmer can also use your help inside when sweeping and mucking out the stables and feeding the calves. And how nice is it to warm up after hard work by the outdoor fireplace by the tent?

The towels are unfortunately not included in the price. You can bring them yourself, but you can also order a handy towel package with one large and one small towel for € 5,-.
The sleeping areas are fully furnished with duvets and pillows and fresh linen. You pay € 6 per person for bed linen for the entire stay.
At some farms you can also opt for the Farmer’s Bed Layout. For € 5.50 per bed your beds will be made before arrival.
Bij sommige boerderijen kun je ook kiezen voor de Boeren Beddenopmaak. Voor € 5,50 per bed worden jullie bedden dan opgemaakt voor aankomst.
Don’t worry! The kids can really enjoy themselves all day long. They can go out with the farmer, ride the tractor, make new friends and take care of the horses. There is also always plenty to play with in the yard: go-karts, trampolines, sandpits! There is also plenty to discover in the area, such as quiet beaches, beautiful nature, nice towns.
