Dairy farm in Beringe, Limburg

BoeBaDoe .......... Coo coo ca choo!

And fortunately, farmer Bart does not have to do it all alone because for several years, farmer Floor from Groningen has been living with him on the farm. Their love story resembles that of Farmer seeks wife, but via a farmer dating site. They have been living together on the farm for a number of years and meanwhile have two daughters and a son, Eefje, Vera and Pim!

Together, they have transformed the traditional dairy farm into a fun, educational and sociable hands-on farm. Here, kids can enjoy playing and learning about life on the farm. Bart and Floor are also converting to nature-inclusive farming with Jersey cows. This means that the cows are milked with great consideration for animal welfare and nature. For example, the calves walk with their mothers for the first three months, the cows enjoy herb-rich grassland, they have forage hedges from which they can get their own food. Furthermore, the cows have a free-range barn with a lovely bed of straw! Farmer Bart milks his cows simply and runs an extensive farm, which means the cows are not under pressure and few are sick or drop out. The oldest cow currently being milked is 14 years old!

And it’s not just cows who reside on this farm. Farmer’s Wife Floor is passionate about all animals, especially horses. She is a qualified Riding Instructor and regularly gives lessons in their beautiful outdoor school to the local children as well as guests on the farm.

So this farm offers something for everyone. You can help farmer Bart look after the cows or take care of the small animals and ponies with farmer Floor. Or just play in the playground. We bet you will enjoy this farm in this beautiful part of North Limburg!

Where do I sleep

On the outskirts of Beringe along a quiet road, lies this delightful Dairy Farm run by Farmer Bart and his wife Floor. A lovely, peaceful location where you can fully enjoy life on the farm and take advantage of the beautiful nature nearby.

At FarmCamps BoeBaDoe you can choose from one of our eight luxury tents. How about our Safari tent which has its own toilet (you can take a shower in the bathing facilities nearby)? Or maybe you prefer the Ranch tent which comes with its own unique ‘Hay! Hay! Bathroom Trailer’? Or perhaps the luxury Lodge tent or Barntent is your choice because it comes with its own private bathroom? Unlike the 6-person Barntent, the 4-person Barntent at BoeBaDoe does not have a Hay Hay sleeping loft in the tent, but is otherwise not inferior to the 6-person version in terms of comfort and extras.

It’s all luxury… now all you have to do is choose!

At this FarmCamps farm, you are guaranteed to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are only 8 luxury tents, so it will never be crowded. The farm is located in an agricultural area on a quiet road.

The luxury tents are located around an open field. From the tent you have an open view across the meadows where you can watch Farmer Bart’s ‘ladies’ grazing in the fields.

On this location, it is not possible to camp using your own equipment.

Finding out is fun!

No farm adventure would be complete without learning a thing or two from the professionals. Farmer Bart and his wife Floor take this to heart! So you can look forward to joining Farmer Bart and learning how he milks and cares for his cows and calves together with helping to feed the goats, pigs, ponies and other residents out in the meadows. And if you are crazy about ponies then you must take a riding lesson with Farmers’ Wife Floor in their beautiful outdoor school.

If you are more into playing, you will also find what you are looking for in this yard. There is a playground where you can climb and scramble to your heart’s content, jump on the trampoline, slide, play with sand and water, race around on the go-karts or mess around in the mud kitchen. Several rabbits live in the cuddle corner and love to be pampered and cuddled.
