Where better to enjoy autumn than in the countryside. After all, it is just as cosy and warm and cozy as at home, but more fun ;-)! Because whether it’s raining or windy, it certainly won’t be boring. Moreover, in autumn, nature is at its most beautiful and going into the forest together is also a very good idea. There is plenty to do there.
Go with the farmer to milk the cows, or bake pies with the farmer’s wife. And how about building huts in the hay barn or cuddling rabbits.
And now, should it really be a bit colder, you will all cozy up to the heater in the tent and it will be time to explore that super cool game box. It is packed with games that will keep you busy for a week. Play games together.
The FarmCamps farmers are ready and won’t let a little cold or rain stop them. So hop, pack those boots and off to the farm with the whole family.

Camping is not 'cramping'. All our tents are specially designed this way for guests who need to get used to camping. Or just for the pros who now want to try out that so-called 'glamping' once to see if it really differs that much.
And it certainly differs... All tents have their own toilet in the tent as well as standard heating, lovely beds and a kitchen with a gas cooker and running water.
If you want a little more comfort, check out our tents with private shower and/or bath.
Staying at FarmCamps is always fun and our tents are suitable for all types of weather, but we understand that you don't always get the weather you hoped for.
For example, when it rains all day or when it is so cold outside that our heaters and lovely duvets no longer provide enough warmth. That's why we have FarmCamps' Good Weather Guarantee. This applies to all arrivals from March to October!
When will autumn holidays start in 2023?

Is there actually enough to do during the autumn holidays on the farm?
Absolutely! There is plenty to do for young and old on the farm. You can help the farmer take care of the animals or do chores in the fields. There is also always plenty to play with in the yard: how about go-karts, trampolines and sandboxes? Moreover, the farmer and farmer's wife often come up with all kinds of fun activities.
Nearby, there is often plenty to explore too, including quiet beaches, beautiful nature and nice towns. Getting away in your own country is not at all crazy.
Is there Wi-Fi in the tent?
At almost all our FarmCamps farms, there is free Wi-Fi at the reception. Some farms even have Wi-Fi signal in the tents. If you want to know which locations these are, check our website under 'Our Farms' and select the filter 'Wifi in the tent'.
Good to know: some farms are remote and therefore do not always have a good Wi-Fi signal. At FarmCamps De Geele Bosch and FarmCamps De Verloren Kost unfortunately receive too few MBs for a good connection due to their location.
How are the glamping tents furnished?
Our tents are fully furnished and equipped with all conveniences. You sleep in nice beds and there is a relaxing sofa and a big table in each tent to play games at. In the kitchen there is running water, a gas cooker, a small fridge ánd a good espresso machine. And, of course, lots of kitchen inventory. Many of our tents also have an outdoor fireplace by the tent. Good to know: there is no microwave or oven in the tent.
Unfortunately, our tents do not include a standard cot and/or high chair. However, our baby package does include a cot (and a high chair and changing mat). You can rent these for €16.
What types of farms can I choose from during the autumn holiday 2023?
You can choose from these different types of farms: an arable farm, an alpaca farm, an organic farm, a cheese farm, a dairy farm, a horse farm, a play and learning farm, a cattle farm. You can also choose whether you want a farm near the forest or by the sea, for example.
Does every FarmCamps have the same sports facilities?
Each FarmCamps farm has its own sports facilities ranging from farmers' golf, table tennis, a volleyball court, a football pitch, canoe hire and fishing facilities.
What farm activities can the kids do in the autumn holidays?
Each FarmCamps location is unique and has its own programme of activities. At every FarmCamps farm, you can join the farm tour and the kids will receive a Farmers' Passport and Farm Hand Diploma (free of charge). In addition, all farms still offer their own unique activities. On the farm page, you can read which activities these are for each farm.
What if the weather is bad in the autumn holidays?
If rain is forecast, we recommend you bring rubber boots and good rainwear for the kids (the boots are always handy to bring, by the way!). Also remember some old clothes for the kids, as they are guaranteed to get dirty playing on the farm.
Should it be chilly, we recommend dressing in layers. Also bear in mind that it can be chilly inside the tent if it is cold or windy outside. So bring nice warm clothes for the evenings. With the Dutch weather, you better be prepared.
