How is the tent furnished?

Our special accommodation is fully furnished and fully equipped. Of course you will sleep in nice beds and in each tent there is a relaxing sofa and a large table to play games at. In the kitchen, there is running water, a gas cooker, a small fridge and a good espresso machine. And, of course, plenty of kitchen inventory. Many of our tents also have an outdoor fireplace by the tent. Nice to light it in the evening and enjoy the fresh air. Good to know: there is no microwave or oven in the tent.

Is there a bathroom in the accommodation?

No worries, you don’t have to shower at the farm, though! You can shower in the heated sanitary building on the farm. The Ranchtents have a private bathroom with bath and shower next to the tent and the Farmtents, Barntents and Lodgetents, our most luxurious tents, even have a bathroom inside the tent.

Can you have fun (inside) in bad weather?

Really! If the weather is not that good, that’s no problem at all. Every tent is equipped with a game box that will keep you entertained for hours. But of course, a real Dutch family does not let a bit of bad weather stop them. Even in bad weather, the cows need to be milked and the animals fed. The farmer also needs your help inside to sweep and muck out the stables and feed the calves. And how nice is it to warm up by the outdoor fireplace near the tent after hard work? What kind of beds are in the tent?

Is it the great outdoors or our comfortable beds? At FarmCamps you will definitely sleep well. In a luxury tent there are luxury beds, of course!
  • In the master bedroom: a 160×200 bed
  • In the room with a bunk bed of 80×200
  • In the 6-person Safari tent you will find two bunk beds
In the lodge tent you will find a bedroom with 2 single beds of 80×200 each. At the bottom of ‘t HooiHuys, 2 children can easily sleep in the “box bed” (140×200). Unfortunately, our tents do not come with a standard baby bed and/or highchair. However, our baby kit does include a cot (and a high chair and changing mat). You can hire this for €16.
