On the wooded pony recreation farm of Martijn and Naduah, you’ll enjoy endless outdoor fun surrounded by animals. Groom ponies, take a walk through the forest with a pony or alpaca, join a riding lesson, and cool off with a swim in the beautiful forest lake on warm days. FarmCamps De Bosrand is no longer a working farm, but a lively recreation park on a former dairy farm where you can still feel the authentic farm atmosphere everywhere and learn more about farm life during the activities. It was not only love at first sight when farmer Martijn and farmer Naduah met each other, but also when they first saw FarmCamps De Bosrand. The farm is beautifully located right on the edge of the forest, just like the name suggests. And less than 100 metres away, you’ll find a lovely forest lake where you can enjoy a refreshing swim on sunny days. Together with their son Dayo and daughter Maya, Martijn and Naduah love sharing their passion for animals, nature and outdoor living with their guests. And you can feel that love everywhere. For example, they took in all the horses from a nearby riding school when it went bankrupt. Two special oxen also found a wonderful new home here. One of them came to FarmCamps De Bosrand because he no longer had a future elsewhere. And because such a big gentle giant deserves company, another ox soon joined him. Now they happily wander around together among the donkeys and goats. FarmCamps De Bosrand used to be a dairy farm, and although today it is mainly focused on recreation, playing and caring for animals, you can still see and feel the farm atmosphere everywhere. During the activities, Martijn and Naduah also love telling guests more about the farm and what farm life used to be like. FarmCamps De Bosrand is a true pony paradise with more than 50 horses and ponies, an outdoor riding arena and a paddock where the smallest ponies can relax in the sand. There are also alpacas, rabbits, donkeys, piglets, goats, chickens, cats, deer and ducks living here. A colourful bunch of animals that you can help care for every single day. You can also take the ponies and alpacas for a walk through the forest next to the campsite. Or would you rather choose a riding lesson, an outdoor trail ride or your own cuddle pony during your holiday? Besides all the animals, FarmCamps De Bosrand is a lively recreation park full of outdoor fun, cosy atmosphere and plenty of space to play. Martijn and Naduah transformed the campsite into a large yet cosy holiday park where the farm atmosphere is still very much alive. You’ll find great facilities, including a brand-new restaurant area with a farm terrace and a menu for lunch and dinner. While the kids climb, slide and play for hours on the large playground equipment, you can relax with a cold beer, pizza or spareribs with fries. And wherever you stay, there’s always an animal to spot from your tent. There really is something for everyone at FarmCamps De Bosrand. Farmer Naduah absolutely loves animals. She truly enjoys taking care of them and loves doing this together with the guests. Farmer Martijn enjoys creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and is always busy around the holiday park. He loves tractors and proudly shows guests his big tough John Deere tractor, his favourite brand. Their son Dayo is just as crazy about big machines and, when he’s not playing with the other campsite kids, loves riding along with his dad on the tractor. Active guests will also have plenty to enjoy at FarmCamps De Bosrand. You can go stand up paddleboarding on the forest lake next to the farm, head straight into the woods on your mountain bike or explore the surroundings on one of the farm’s rental bikes.
