FarmCamps vacancies

FarmCamps is a young and fast growing company that offers luxury vacations on working farms throughout the Netherlands. With our own (wise) vision on the staycation market we manage to increase our market share every year.

The head office is located in Bussum (30 minutes by train from Amsterdam and Utrecht) and we are looking for talents to strengthen our young, ambitious and enthusiastic team.

Business Development Representative UK

24 to 32 hours per week

Help FarmCamps grow in the United Kingdom

FarmCamps is ready for the next step: expanding into the United Kingdom. After our success in the Netherlands and Germany, we want British families to experience just how special a farm holiday can be. Waking up among the animals, playing in the farmyard, learning where your food comes from and, at the same time, enjoying the peace, space and comfort of a luxury tent.

To make this happen, we are looking for new FarmCamps locations in the United Kingdom. Farms that would like to open their yard to families and see an opportunity to create an additional income stream alongside their agricultural business.

What will you do?

As Business Development Representative UK, you will play an important role in this growth. You will identify interesting farms, make the first contact and build a strong pipeline of potential FarmCamps locations.

You will be responsible for that first, crucial step: finding, enthusing and qualifying the right farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs.

You will:

· research which agricultural businesses could be interesting for FarmCamps;
· collect contact details and approach potential partners by phone and email;
· tell the FarmCamps story in an enthusiastic and convincing way;
· answer initial questions and build trust with farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs;
· assess whether a farm fits the FarmCamps concept;
· schedule meetings and location visits for the management team;
· carefully keep track of contact moments, follow-up and progress;
· share market insights, opportunities and common objections with the team.

You will work closely with the team in the Netherlands and report directly to management.

Who are we looking for?

You get energy from new business and enjoy making new contacts. You are commercially minded, curious and not afraid to pick up the phone. You know how to build trust, especially with entrepreneurs who may not yet be familiar with FarmCamps.

In addition:

· you have experience in sales, lead generation, business development, recruitment or telephone acquisition;
· you speak and write fluent Dutch and English; native English is a plus;
· you communicate professionally, positively and convincingly;
· you work in a structured way and keep a clear overview of your pipeline;
· you make smart use of AI tools for research, lead lists and follow-up;
· you are proactive, results-oriented and able to work independently;
· you feel comfortable communicating with farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs;
· an affinity with hospitality, recreation, tourism or outdoor life is a plus.

What do we offer?

· An entrepreneurial role with a direct impact on the international growth of FarmCamps.
· The opportunity to help build FarmCamps in a new market.
· Plenty of room for independence, initiative and your own ideas.
· A commercial role at the intersection of tourism, hospitality and agricultural entrepreneurship.
· A committed team that thinks along with you and supports you.
· Plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself in sales, partnerships and market development.
· A market-based salary between €3,000 and €4,000 gross per month based on a full-time contract, depending on experience.
· An attractive bonus scheme based on commercial results, such as qualified leads, scheduled meetings and new FarmCamps locations.

For farmers, FarmCamps offers an additional income stream alongside their agricultural business. We provide the accommodations and support farmers with marketing, bookings, guest experience and quality control.
