Luxury lodging at the farm is the trend of the moment! FarmCamps is a fast-growing scale-up that offers unique vacations at 25 farms throughout the Netherlands. Our guests sleep in one of the 400 luxury tents and are treated to a generous portion of farm fun. And yes, one of the perks is that you occasionally get to “try it out” for yourself! 😉

Joining our young, enthusiastic and ambitious team at our headquarters in Bussum, the Netherlands, as an intern you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of FarmCamps. We offer a dynamic and innovative environment where you can learn, grow and develop yourself.

What will you do? 📝

During this full-time internship you will be part of our team and there is room to spend one day a week on a possible internship assignment (in consultation with FarmCamps). When exactly you will start will be determined together, and the internship will last at least 5 months.

Your duties include:

🐑 Actively thinking, collaborating and contributing to the development of FarmCamps.co.uk

🐴 Co-responsible for all our communications on Instagram and Facebook

🐔 Managing the campaign calendar and content planning

🐰 Writing catchy content for the website and newsletters to increase the number of visitors

Who we are.

Luxury lodging at the farm is hip! FarmCamps is a scale-up that offers luxury vacations on farms throughout the Netherlands. Our guests sleep in luxury tents. One of the perks is that you 'have to' try it out yourself....

In a young, enthusiastic and ambitious team you will work at our head office in Bussum and, as an intern, you will be jointly responsible for the success of our formula. You will participate fully in the Operations team where you can learn from colleagues and where there is plenty of room for personal development. Operations forms the pivot between our farms and the other FarmCamps teams and from this role you will work intensively with both our farmers and farmers' wives as well as colleagues from other teams, such as Sales and Marketing, and Customer Service.

The assignment:

The assignment is a full-time cooperative internship, with the possibility to use one day per week for a possible internship assignment (assignment in consultation with FarmCamps).

When. Immediately we are looking for a full-time intern. The start date will be determined in consultation and the internship duration is at least 5 months. Your internship consists, among other things, of the following activities:

• Contact person for the farms
• Maintaining and managing orders and stock at headquarters and at our farms
• Planning new camps and dismantling existing camps
• Thinking along about improving operational processes. E.g. How do we improve the flow of goods from our suppliers to our farms? How can FarmCamps become more sustainable?
• Thinking along about national and international expansion.
• Co-responsible for reports and manuals

• An approachable person who takes responsibility, initiative and can work independently.

• Affinity with the travel industry
• A driving license is an advantage

In a young, enthusiastic and small team you will work at our headquarters in Bussum and as an intern you will be co-responsible for the success of FarmCamps. You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment where there is room for personal development.

The assignment:

The Customer Contact department is the hub of our organization. The first point of contact for our (potential) customers, farmers and suppliers.

The assignment concerns a full-time internship in the Customer Contact department, with the possibility to use one day per week for a possible internship assignment (assignment in consultation with FarmCamps).

When. We have room for 1 intern throughout the year. The start date will be determined in consultation and the internship duration is at least 20 weeks.

During your internship you will perform the following tasks, among others:

• Answering incoming telephone calls;
• Processing/answering questions from our guests via email, facebook, online chat service and other (online) channels;
• Making 'telephone' bookings and checking bookings made online;
• Making quotes for group requests;
• Managing guest satisfaction by checking and responding to guest surveys.
• Assisting our marketing and operations colleagues
