Typical “Brabant welcome” at FarmCamps Breehees. Farmers Carolien and Huub welcome you to their farm with typical Brabant hospitality. Being proud ‘Brabanders’ through and through this comes as second nature to them. They have run the small-scale horse pension and cosy Brabant farm campsite here since 2015. Mum and Dad once founded this fantastic place and you can still regularly come across them on the farm. A real family business, then.
Farmer Carolien is absolutely crazy about horses and ponies, just like her daughters Maud and Suus! No wonder, then, that Breehees is home to 12 boarding horses and over 30 of her own ponies. Together with her team, Carolien likes to organise all kinds of fun activities with the ponies. Carolien is a passionate instructor and gives both experienced and beginning riders riding lessons in their outdoor or brand-new indoor arena. But there is more to do. For instance, you can go to the woods with one of the sweet walking ponies, help with the daily care of the ponies, take part in the hilarious pony games or just enjoy cuddling the ponies. So ponies, ponies and more ponies are the order of the day at FarmCamps Breehees!
If you don’t ‘feel like’ horses for a while, you can cuddle with the chickens, and chill with the pigs, donkeys and alpacas. Or join farmer Huub on safari with their ‘Breese tram’ to visit brother Ronny’s dairy farm. He also likes to take guests on an evening walk through the forest near the farm. Of course, there is also plenty to play on the farm. There is a giant playground with air trampoline, cable car, slide, huge sandpit and much more!
The farm has a cosy bistro with an extensive menu. On the partially covered farm terrace overlooking the playground, you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a piece of cake, a cold glass of beer, a tasty sandwich, hamburger or delicious steak with freshly baked fries. You can also order fries from the snack menu and eat them at the tent.
So, in short, a holiday at FarmCamps Breehees offers a bit of everything and farmer Carolien, farmer Huub and their team of super enthusiastic staff make all holidays a party!
What a great choice!
