The beautiful Zeeland island of ‘Noord-Beveland’ is surrounded by lake Veerse, the incredible Eastern Scheldt dam (part of the Delta Works series) and the North Sea – here there are endless opportunities to enjoy the real Zeeland landscape on sunny days.
At FarmCamps Five Star you can choose from one of our 11 luxury, fully equipped Safari Tents including a private toilet. Showers are in the nearby bathing facilities. Four of the Safari Tents even have an airconditioning. Or you can treat yourself to a little extra luxury with one of our 8 fully equipped Lodge Tents including private bathrooms.
This FarmCamps farm is located on a quiet dyke and is surrounded by meadows and fields. The farm also has a field with 5 pitches where people with their own camping equipment can stay. Less than 5km away you will find the beautiful Banjaardstrand and the Veerse Meer lake.
Our luxury tents are set around an attractive field lined with trees which protect you against any Zeeland wind. Here your mini-farmers are safe to play and explore the farm, you don’t need to worry that they wander too far away.
At FarmCamps Five Star there are also 5 camping spots for guests with their own camping equipment. More information can be found on the website of the farm itself.
At check-in, children will receive FarmCamps’ Farmers Passport. This contains fun and educational assignments. Your mini-farmers can discover and experience real life on a farm. For each task, they get a stamp from the farmer or farmer’s wife after feeding.
During each stay, farmer Jan gives a Tour de Boer (farmer tour) around their yard. He will be happy to tell you what they do, how they live and work, and show you around their farm.
Together with Ella you will learn how to make delicious chips from fresh farm potatoes – and of course you will get to taste it too!
During your holiday you can help every morning with taking care of the ponies. There is a big chance you will will be able to ride a pony once for free. But if you want more pony time, that is no problem of course! Together with your parents you take a pony walk through the lovely country side. You on it a and your parents next to it.
Want to go to the beach by bike? There are several bicycle rental companies close to the farm, just around the corner in the village of Kamperland. One of them even delivers the bicycles to the farm.
To do this scavenger hunt you will need the sheet with pictures of animals on and things you can find around the farmyard. Tick the box if you have spotted one. Can you find all of them?
If the weather is a bit poor, or if you feel like having a blast in the climbing paradise or in the ball pit, dive into the indoor playground of FarmCamps Five Star.
If you are more into playing, you will certainly get your money’s worth on the farm. Race on the go-karts, jump on the trampoline or play with sand. Here there are no rules – just enjoy yourself!
A deliciously fresh farmers breakfast delivered to your tent including fresh bread, milk, juice, yoghurt, eggs (you cook these to your own liking) and of course a variety of condiments.
Every morning you can also use the bread service. You can order the bread a day in advance in the farm shop.
For a pleasant evening of BBQing, you get a delicious meat or fish package from the artisanal butcher, salad, bread, sauces and, of course, some goodies for the kids. The barbecue, including charcoal or gas, is included in the price. The price is €20 for a meat package, and €25 for a fish package.
During the holidays all days possible except for the arrival days. Outside the holiday periods only possible on Saturday and Sunday.
No need to lug around your own baby gear! This package includes a baby bed, high chair and a changing mat. Don’t forget to bring your baby’s own bed linen though.
Not only will your mini-farmers look very cool in these red overalls but you’ll be sure their clothes don’t get ruined!
Includes 1 x large and 1 x small, thick white towel. Perfect for leaving washing behind at the end of your holiday!
What better way is there to soak up the beautiful landscape than to take a lovely bike ride from the farm. Luckily you can hire a range of bikes on the farm. There are bikes for adults, children’s bikes and even the popular Babboe box bike, perfect for packing everything in for a family trip to the beach.

Barnjaard beach is less than 5km from the farm and is one of the cleanest beaches in The Netherlands. You can also visit the well-known seaside resort of Domburg on the island of Walcheren, which can be reached within half an hour from the farm.

This famous lake, also less than 5km from the farm, is great for swimming and many different water sports. At the water sport center ‘de Schotsman’ for example, you can enjoy water skiing, wind surfing, kayaking and ‘banana boating’.

If weather isn’t on your side during your stay then why not take a trip to the tropical swimming paradise in Goes. Here you will find a lazy river, a recreational pool, a toddler paddling pool, a whirlpool, a large swimming pool to practice your lengths and two great water slides.

Located in Middelburg this amusement park boasts an indoor playground, outdoor amusement park and the newly laid out miniature park with its sunken walking routes and miniature buildings of Walcheren. Take the delightful Mini Mundi Express train to discover the whole park!

GlowGolf in Middelburg turns mini golf into a complete new experience. The indoor mini golf course is lit up by black lights. The 18-hole course is surrounded by glow in the dark animals like elephants, tigers and other jungle animals!
Nature
The Oosterschelde National Park is unique and must be experienced. Connected to the open sea it is the largest and wettest of all National Parks across The Netherlands. There are numerous ways to explore the Oosterschelde. Besides the many biking and hiking trails, you can also go beach combing, visit a mussel farm or take a wander in your wellies over the tidal marshes and mud flats. The Oosterschelde is a paradise for both the fishing enthusiast and the birdwatcher. In summer you can swim, snorkel or paddle at one of the many beaches around the Oosterschelde.
Nature
Terra Maris is Zeeland’s premier museum of nature and landscape. It is located in the beautiful De Manteling nature reserve in Oostkapelle and regularly organises fun activities for kids, such as beachcombing.
Culture
At the Delta Park Neeltje Jans you can learn about the history of the Delta Works – built to keep everyone safe and to prevent a recurrence of the 1953 flood disaster – and the power of wind and water when combined. Step into a simulator and feel the force of a hurricane or take a boat trip out see to the Delta Works. There is extra fun for the kids with a sea lion show and a water playground.
Culture
Why not rent a bike and take the ferry from Kamperland to the beautiful town of Veere situated on the other side of Lake Veerse? This charming old town offers glorious views of the boats in the harbor, beautiful terraces to sit and take a break on or lovely boutique shops if you fancy a browse.
