When you step out of your tent you are greeted with open meadows and surrounding dykes; the real Dutch polder landscape, all in the heart of The Netherlands. A truly magnificent view!
At Stolkse Weide, you stay in one of the 4 luxury Safari tents or the 6 even more luxurious Lodgetents. The cosy Safari tents are fully equipped and have their own toilet. You can shower in the sanitary building. And if you want that little bit of extra luxury with a view of the Water Playground, then the Lodgetent with its own bathroom is just right for you!
The farm has two fields. The field on the right is home to our 10 luxury tents. From 2024, the field on the left will be for guests with their own camping equipment. In the middle is the eye catcher, the mega Water Fun Playground, has been built in a deepened ditch. Enclosed by a safety fence, your mini-farmers are safe and sound playing here.
Surrounding the camping fields you’ll find cows and sheep grazing, and ducks swimming along the dykes. Each night the cows march home together past the tents and into the dairy for milking. On this location there are five permanent pitches.
This FarmCamps farm is located on a quiet dead-end road and is surrounded by open pastures and fields. Within walking distance is the village of Stolwijk with local shops and restaurants. There are also 15 pitches at this farm.

FarmCamps Stolkse Weide also has 15 pitches for guests with their own camping equipment These can only be booked through the farm itself.
At check-in, children will receive FarmCamps’ Farmer’s Passport. This contains fun and educational tasks they can do independently or with the farmer. This way, they participate in, and learn about life on the farm.
For each completed task they will receive a stamp in their Farmer’s Passport. When their work is done When their work is done they will graduate with their own farmhand diploma!
During your stay Farmer’s wife Durkje will show you the ropes with a guided tour of the farm. She will share with you the pleasure they get from working the land and raising their livestock.
Experience this unique chance to go where only farmers dare to go and soak up the special stories they´ll share with you about the farm they love and care for. This tour will be conducted in Dutch.
Together with Durkje and a handy machine you will learn how to make delicious ice-cream from fresh farm milk – and of course you will get to taste it too!
You can hire bikes from the farm and take a delightful ride through the local countryside to discover the beauty of the polders or visit one of the many natural swimming pools. Ask the farmer’s wife about the possibilities.
With so many ditches (more commonly recognised as farmer’s waterways) around the farm, it’s a great place for fishing and canoeing. So make sure you bring your own rod or buy a fishing net in the farm shop. There are canoes that are freely available for a nice paddle tour through the polder.
If you like to play, then you’re in the right place! Here you can play football, splash in the mega Water Fun Play Pool, play on the indoor play attic, ride the go-karts or play with sand and do somersaults on the trampoline.
A deliciously fresh farmers breakfast delivered to your tent including fresh bread, milk, juice, eggs (you cook these to your own liking) and of course a variety of condiments.
The pizza oven is turned on a few times a week and you can order delicious pizzas from us to eat in your tent. Saves another evening of cooking yourself!
No need to lug around your own baby gear! This package includes a baby bed, high chair and a changing mat. Don’t forget to bring your baby’s own bed linen though.
Not only will your mini-farmers look very cool in these red overalls but you’ll be sure their clothes don’t get ruined!
Includes 1 x large and 1 x small, thick white towel. Perfect for leaving washing behind at the end of your holiday!
What better way is there to soak up the beautiful landscape than to take a lovely bike ride from the farm. Luckily you can hire a range of bikes on the farm. There are bikes for adults, children’s bikes and even the popular Babboe box bike, perfect for packing everything in for a family trip to the beach.

For a bit of fun and some cooling off then you don’t need to go far! Right on the farm you will find the outdoor paddling pool where kids will run around and play for hours while you watch and enjoy. The water is only 50cm deep so it is also suitable for younger children.
