Camping at the farm is, of course, totally awesome for children. But as parents, you naturally want a bit of luxury. We understand that! We have good news for you: you don’t have to leave your tent to take a shower. You can walk from the bedroom to the bathroom without having to step outside the door. All of this is included in the Farmtent bathroom:
Do you sleep better at FarmCamps than in your own bed? Yes indeed! We often get messages from our guests asking where we get those lovely mattresses from…
We have 2 types of Farmtents at FarmCamps. The 4-person and the 6-person Farmtent. The only difference between the two Farmtents is that the 6-person Farmtent has 2 bunk beds instead of 1. Are you bringing your baby with you? Then the 4-person Farmtent is best suited. There is enough space in the bedroom for a cot. In this case the maximum is then five people in the four-person tent.
Fun: there is also a cosy version of the Farmtent. This tent does not have a sofa, but a cosy dining area and is a bit smaller. The cosy version can only be found at Hoeve Luyterheyde.
In our luxury Farmtent everyone has plenty of space to entertain themselves. Enjoy reading on a comfortable sofa or tinkering at the large family table. All tents are also equipped with a well-stocked game box. Finally the chance to win at Mens-erger-je-niet! or re-experience Pim Pam Pet! The well-stocked game box guarantees fun moments!
FarmCamps farms can actually be found throughout the country. From Zeeland to Friesland and from Limburg to North Holland. You also have the choice of, for example, a farm by the sea, in the middle of the countryside or near a forest or the beach There is always a farm to suit your needs!
And there is more! Healthy outdoor air, happy children and lots of cuddles from all the animals roaming the farm. That makes a Farmtent rental on the farm truly unique. Y ou really should do it sometime!
At almost all our FarmCamps farms, there is free Wi-Fi at the reception. Some farms even have Wi-Fi signal in the tents. If you want to know which locations these are, check our booking page and select the filter ‘Wifi in the tent’.
Good to know: some farms are remote and therefore do not always have a good Wi-Fi signal. FarmCamps De Geele Bosch and FarmCamps De Verloren Kost are unfortunately not receiving enough MBs for a good connection due to their location.
Our tents are fully furnished and equipped with all conveniences. You will sleep in nice beds and in each tent there is a relaxing sofa and a big table to play games at. In the kitchen there is running water, a gas cooker, a small fridge ánd a good espresso machine. And, of course, lots of kitchen inventory. Many of our tents also have an outdoor fireplace by the tent. Good to know: there is no microwave or oven in the tent. Unfortunately, our tents do not include a standard cot and/or high chair. However, our baby package does include a cot (and a high chair and changing mat). You can arrange these while booking.
Definitely! If the weather is a bit off, that’s not a problem at all. In a Farmtent, you will find a game chest as standard that will keep you entertained for hours.
But, of course, a true Dutch family does not let a bit of bad weather stop them. Even in bad weather, the cows need to be milked and the animals fed. The farmer also needs your help inside to sweep and muck out the stables and feed the calves. And how nice is it to warm up by the outdoor fireplace near the tent after hard work?

Towels are unfortunately not included in the price. You can bring them yourself, but you can also order a handy towel pack with one large and one small towel for ‘little’.
The sleeping quarters are fully furnished with duvets and pillows and clean bedding.
At some farms, you can also opt for the Farmers’ Bed layout. For a small amount per bed, your beds will then be made before arrival.
No worries! The kids can really have fun all day long. They can go out with the farmer, ride the tractor, make new friends and enjoy grooming the horses.. There is also always plenty to play with in the yard: go-karts, trampolines, sandboxes! There is also plenty to explore in the surrounding area, such as quiet beaches, beautiful nature, nice towns.

Luxurious Barntent with private bathroom with bath and shower. Spaciously furnished with a cozy living room, large panoramic windows, large kitchen with dishwasher and Lavazza Espresso machine, comfortable hammock, outdoor fireplace and private barbecue. For the kids the Hooi Hooi Sleeping Attic, the nicest place to sleep ever. The Barntent is suitable for a maximum of 6 people.
Luxury Lodge Tent
Luxury Lodgetent with private bathroom. Spaciously furnished with a cosy living area, kitchen with Lavazza Espresso machine, comfortable hammock, outdoor fireplace and private barbecue.
For the kids 't Hooihuys, the most fun play and sleep spot.
The Lodgetent is suitable for up to 6 people.
Luxury Ranch Tent
Luxury Ranch Tent with Hay Hay Bath trailer next to the tent. Spaciously furnished with a cosy living area, kitchen with hot and cold running water and Lavazza espresso machine, outdoor fireplace and your own barbecue.
The Ranchtent is available in a 4-person and a 6-person version. Of course you can take a bath or shower in the Hooi Hooi bath trailer.
Luxury Hay Tent
Luxury Hay Tent spaciously furnished with a cosy living area, large panoramic windows and well-insulated wooden roof. The Hay Tent can accommodate up to 6 people. And is equipped with comfortable beds, large kitchen with Lavazza Espresso machine, stove and private toilet. Shower for free in the heated sanitary building on the farm.
Luxury Safari Tent
Luxury Safari Tent Spaciously amd cosy living area, private toilet, kitchen, fridge, Lavazza Espresso machine and cold running water. For the children is there a well-stocked games chest. The Safari Tent comes in 4-person and 6-person version. Take a free shower in the heated sanitary building on the farm.
