Welcome to FarmCamps, where Easter will be an egg this year! Literally, because the chickens on the farm have been working overtime to lay enough eggs for all our guests. And rest assured, they’re not just for the Easter bunny!
Come spend a long weekend at Easter in a glamping tent on a real farm. Of course, we don’t have to explain to you that looking for eggs at Easter on a farm is the most fun. Enjoy spring, the young animals in the meadow and experience what it is like on the farm. No iPad and TV for a while, but milking cows, brushing ponies and playing in the yard.
During Easter you don’t have to go far away at all, you can just go to the farm, just as much fun! And maybe even more fun, because for busy parents, an Easter weekend at the farm is not at all crazy. How about reading a book by the woodstove or on the veranda, going for a bike ride or having a cosy barbecue together by the tent. Easter has never been so relaxed. After a few days of glamping at the farm, you will all feel great again.
You will stay in a super luxurious glamping tent with all the trimmings over the Easter weekend. All our tents are specially designed for anyone who needs to get used to camping. Or just for the pro's who want to try the popular 'glamping' to see if it really differs that much.
And it certainly differs. Our tents have their own toilet, lovely beds, electricity, hot water and a kitchen with gas cooker and espresso machine. Everyone has enough space to enjoy themselves. You can enjoy reading on a nice sofa or play games together at the large dining table. All tents are equipped with a well-stocked game box. Handy, for when the weather is a bit off. The luxury Lodgetents even have a Hay House for the kids. If you want a little more comfort, check out our tents with private shower and/or bath.
During Easter, you can look for chocolate eggs at the farmer's yard. Of course, this makes camping at the farm even more fun, exciting...and delicious!
Are you booking until Monday? Check-out is not required until 5pm, giving you the whole day to have fun on the farm. Or go for an extra-long weekend and stay until Tuesday with check-out at 10am.
Staying on a farm is not only fun, it is also very educational. The children get a real Farmers' Passport from FarmCamps. In it are all fun and educational tasks that they can do together or with the farmer. And of course, parents are welcome to join in too!
Our farmers are all equally enthusiastic and ready to teach you all about life on the farm. How nice it is to get a taste of farm life and learn from the Netherlands' nicest farmers? A job in the fields, tending the cows, putting the horses in their stalls. You really won't turn your hand to that any more.
At Easter, chances are that the weather will be nice. But, we all know: the weather here in the Netherlands can go either way. Is your Easter weekend threatening to fall into the water. Nothing to worry about! Take advantage of our Good Weather Guarantee and rebook your Easter weekend for free. Read here how this works exactly.
Of course, Easter cannot be celebrated without looking for eggs. And besides this tradition, we also keep our own at FarmCamps.
In fact, one golden Easter bunny is also hidden on each farm around Easter time! If you find the golden Easter bunny and your name is drawn from all 'golden Easter bunny finders', you will win a weekend at FarmCamps worth € 400.
Easter means a few extra days off. And where better to spend them than on the farm? Book your extra-long Easter weekend now and secure a stay at one of our farms. We do not know if there will be any last-minute availability.
We have already listed the dates for you.

Not everything in Kaatsheuvel is a fairy tale, because this incredibly beautiful and cosy horse boarding house really exists! This is where farmer Karin Smulders lives with "our dad" and "our mum", husband Dennis and their 3 cool kids Mees (16 years old), Suus (14 years old) and Faas (10 years old).
Typical “Brabant welcome” at FarmCamps Breehees Breehees Farmers Carolien and Huub welcome you to their farm with typical Brabant hospitality. Being proud ‘Brabanders’ through and through this comes as second nature to them. Carolien and Huub run this small scale livery and farm campsite, but you are also likely to bump into Mum and Dad, Mr. and Mrs. de Boer whilst out and about on the farm.
On the farm of farmer Frank and farmer Eva, their herd of Brandrode cattle graze outside all year round. Are you coming to stay at the farm? Eva and Frank are happy to teach you everything about inclusive, small-scale livestock farming. In addition to those beautiful cattle, there are many more lovely animals living on the farm, such as ponies, pigs and kittens.
Surrounded by exceptional peace and tranquility, here you can discover the true beauty of typical Dutch polder landscape together with Farmer Wilco and Farmer’s wife Durkje. Imagine looking out from your tent over open meadows, watching the grazing sheep and cows while spotting a few birds too!
Contrary to the rest of Holland, South Limburg boasts beautiful rolling hills where you can almost forget you are in The Netherlands. Nestled between the valleys surrounding Gulpen lies FarmCamps De Verloren Kost. The meandering drive up to the farm is as spectacular as the location itself.
Lovely accommodation, lots of animals, plenty of play opportunities for children, a nice insight into farming. Enthusiastic farmer who loves telling about his farm. Attention to details (Easter eggs as a surprise in the fridge, making ice cream with the farmer’s wife). And fantastic weather!
We are happy to answer all your questions.
